Let's start our journey at the delightful artistic community of Pilliga Pottery. It was a cold day in late May 2015 when we turned off the Newell Highway just north of Coonabarabran in central New South Wales. Many times we'd driven past the sign to Pilliga Pottery. Not today!!
We slowly made our way along the winding dirt road, wondering how long it would take us. It was probably about 15 minutes when we happened upon the settlement. Pottery sculptures all around, even a tree!
Enjoy the photos.
